Default shifter mount

have a 1976 c3 with BG super t10 4 speed and looking for a shifter bracket that mounts to the tail housing instead of the stock bracket which mounts to the crossmember
the car has an aftermarket crossmember with no provision for the stock mount. I hope to use the OEM shifter if possible and not convert to a Hurst.. the Hurst bracket will not fit the stock shifter as the bolt pattern and sizes are different

thanks
ken

There is no bracket for the stock shifter to mount to the tail housing. The Hurst is a much better shifter. One of the first mods I did to my car and well worth it. If appearance is important to you, there are folks that make a stock style handle for the Hurst shifter.
