Default LT-1 Radiator fan direction

Fellow LT-1 owners - could you take a look at your radiator fan and tell me which side is facing the engine in the pics below? I think a PO installed the wrong fan clutch and mounted the fan backwards. (I have a '72 LT-1.)

A faces the radiator on LT-1 and every other C3.

That's what I figured. It seems some previous owner replaced the clutch with one that interfered with the blades when mounting it the correct way, so he decided to mount it backwards. Talk about fan roar. Unbelievable.

Plus the fan was blowing engine heat to the fan, good to know, I did not know you could install one backwards!

Yeah, it fits backwards. It doesn't really change the direction of air flow because the fan is still spinning in the same direction, but it definitely creates more air noise as your RPM's increase. I have yet to take it out for a test drive after correcting it, but I'll report back here if it helped or not. Apparently it does after reading about this issue in some other threads here.
