I got lucky- steering wheel removal
68 non tilt- have issues with my turn signals. Wheel puller holes were stripped. The smart thing would have been to retap the holes but based on u tube, and some suggestions on the Forum, I attempted the removal with no puller. Soaked it with Kroil overnight, whacked the backed off nut with a hammer, and enthusiastically pulled and rocked the wheel. Repeated whacking and pulling and in less than 3 minutes luckily the wheel popped off. Which brings me to one of my favorite sayings: I rather be lucky than smart.
