Gentleman: What year, was the last 454: installed in a C-3?? . I bought a set of ;plus=g wires, & of course, 2 are too short & 2 are too long. also I have headers on it. so I can't tell what to order!! Can anyone give me numbers that might work. Thank's I Appreciate/ Gene

What wires did you order? I just put a set of Accel's ceramic boot wires on my 69 BB with headers and no problems. Did you get a ready made set or cut your own?

Try making your own? That way you get a custom fit. Buy bulk wire and terminals then cut, strip and crimp. I used to think there was something sofisticated in how the wires are crimped and terminated by the manufactures. But they all just strip back the insulation and lay the open wire back to get crimped under the brass terminal connector.

On my acvw stuff the boot end has a sheet metal screw that goes right into the wire
