1968-1972 frames question
Hey guys a little help here please . I'm restoring a early model 1968 coupe. It has a little damage in the rear passenger kick up where it is welded to the very rear crossmember. The question is I plan on straightening this end of the rear kick up and welding on a new crossmember, what angle should the rear crossmember be at. The following pics are of the new piece just sitting on there. It is level from left to right but should it be facing that way or should it be parallel with the frame? How should this be mounted I could not tell from the old one. Here are the pics
