I like the stock look of my 77 l48 so I reused the stock air cleaner with Holley sniper
It runs great with sniper efi. Much smoother at cruise and wot. Im surprised how much drivability is improved.
The guys at efi pro were a pleasure to work with.

and terrible throttle linkage fab work that I cant show anyone.
Holley makes a progressive linkage and throttle bracket extender but I wanted to test the idea before buying all the special brackets.
Longer throttle arm , progressive linkage and reprograming to progressive throttle mode made it work more to my liking on take off.
My only suggestion to Holley is to add a fuse where the main power connects to the battery. The long red wire has a fuse way down the line by the sniper relay and plugs leaving a long stretch un protected.
Im wondering if switching to the holley ignition components ( dist, box and coil ) will noticably improve drivability. I have a recurved hei big cap which seems to be properly adjusted.
I added the fuse holder and 30a fuse ( black cap visible )
