Take a look at Corvette Central. This is a system with stock mufflers but you can get it with Magnaflows. When I purchased my 78 system without headers everything bolted right up.:

I had that system on my 81 for several years until I put on sidepipes. It was a very nice sounding system and installed easy. Magnaflows are nice. Eventually I swapped out the shorty headers for full length, and the Magnaflows for smaller (LOUDER) Magnaflows lol.

Just keep in mind that you need a bung for your oxygen sensor when buying the headers...or you will need to have one welded in... or go though the effort to by-pass it and trick the ECM that it is there. Unless you no longer are using the ECM.
