Steering Column Info
I would like to contact Jim Shea regarding a tilt/tele steering column issue. I've not been able to do so with a PM on the Forum. Anyone have an e-mail address or other means of making contact with him?

What is your question? From what I gather, both Jim and Allen have taken breaks from the forum....
I've got a pretty strong back ground on these columns and we're doing one right now in the shop. So if you need pictures or something else just let me know. Quickly though, we're stuffing it back together on Monday.

The exploded views are posted on my tech site... but I sent you a PM yesterday. PM me a phone number tomorrow and I'll give you a ring when I get a spare chance. I've got a sick family member so I've been going to the hospital three times a day but I'll give you a ring when I can. You can't break a column that I can't tell you how to fix.
Here are all the column pictures on the tech site and if you scroll downward you'll see the exploded view for what it's worth... Pretty hard to decipher. http://repairs.willcoxcorvette.com/?yt=&s=steering+column
Here is the picture of the four bolts that will cause your issue.... you torque them to 80 inch pounds and we always loc-tight them
