MNJack's Protecto-Plate Idea Update...
This is from Rick Church's earlier post on ProtectoPlates and how I copied one, which had a name to it which MNJack looked up the name and got a phone number. Well, I called the number and talked to the owner on my protecto plate!!! Now, he would like it back??? I may sell it to him, but it won't be cheap :lol: Furthermore, this guy is an NCRS member, has a Red/Red '61 Fuelie and a Red/Red '66 427/425 which, get this, he bought from a guy here in Ohio that I know!!!!! Talk about small world!!! This Red/Red '66 was also judged at our 2000 NCRS show here in Mansfield, Ohio!!! He had that LeMans Blue '68 on the Protecto Plate for 2 & 1/2 years or so before finally selling it. Now, if he knew where it was, he said he'd like to buy it back!!! It was '68 #18494, 30 cars AFTER mine :yesnod:
