Default Smoke out the center vent

I went out to start the car and after about 5 min. there was a little smoke comming out the center vent. had me scared. I turned the car off to do some checking. It did not smell like a electrical problem. Then I turned the key to the on position and watched for smoke, never saw any. Then started the engine and in about 2 min. real light smoke came out. The car does smoke a little when you start it. It has sat for about 2 weeks. I only see smoke with the door open on the car. Any thoughts. Like I said it does not smell like electrical at all. Hard to tell but it smells more like exhaust. Has me worried. I do not want to pull the dash again. It was out for when I installed a original radio I got for a 76. I was extra careful with the wireing, not moving it aroud to much. Any ideas if it is just exhaust get into the vents.

I hope it is not, i never thought of that. I dont think it had a sweet smell to it, but it might be so small leak. Thank for the help. I will do some looking.

Check the carpet on the passenger side for any wetness.

AC work? Could be condensation. Could also be exhaust or blowby coming in the vent from under hood.

You beat me to it. I didnt think anyone would have gone with cloud formations. Thats my vote for a humid Florida.
Close the door and turn on the fan, see if it disapates. You could hold a piece of tissue in front of the vent to try and collect an odor if there is any. It may be easier than trying to stick your face over there.
