wanting to convert my 73 stingray to power steering, I’ve heard there are other model years I could pull from and that I should convert to serpentine as well. My question is what other model years can I pull from and any good YouTube videos to show me how?
Welcome Christopher, there are numerous threads regarding p/s, if you look to the upper right you'll see search forum.
My opinion would be for you to look a company called 'Borgeson', they sell a kit that will supply you with everything needed for a complete p/s install and it is an upgrade over OEM type p/s. I have their steering system on my 69, it is trouble free and made my car much more enjoyable. T
While the stock Corvette PS system works it is ancient in design and there is a lot more under there than is needed. The PS control valve is a known leaker and if you put in a used one I’ll gaurentee it will leak. For the money you will spend finding and putting new hoses and whatever you will be way ahead just buying the kit for a Borgeson steering box for your car. I have had 3 systems, stock, Steeroids and now the Borgeson. The last one is by far the easiest install and works better than the stock system by far.
Borgeson is way to fly today, I did a rack in my '72 about 17 years ago, either one has a much quicker ratio, so 2.7 turns R/L vs the stock 3.7 turns, another thing you want to change is over to a late shark steering wheel......smaller diameter and the thicker rim, so it don't feel like a bus driver wheel in you hand.....
and while you at it, get wider rims and at least 17" diameter.....
then you can get a cross support going between your upper A arms.....
then a plastic spring in the rear......so it don't drive like a tank.....then Bilstein sport shocks all around.....
stick around we help you spend ALL your money.....

damnit you stay away from my wallet!
borgeson is EASY fyi... but you'll probably have to make 2 trips to NAPA to get your power steering hoses custom crimped, the kit hoses are seldom correct

I hear the Borgeson makes it a true power steering where the stock setup was more of a "steering assist"........
I restroed the system in my 72' because it was in decent shape....but if you start from scratch.....just do the Borgeson.......so much less stuff!
Just did the borgeson conversion on my non power steering 71. and its the best upgrade I have done beside the 5-speed overdrive. here is some info on it. its a very easy install. steering column shaft was shortened 2 1/4". https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...n-install.html

I'd toss a hydro boost into it (since no power brakes) while I'm making hoses and adding a pump. Much better than a bulky vacuum booster. Will make a huge difference in stopping power. These upgrades make these oldies "drivable" actually.
Makes my Engine Cringe... Your under hood is Spotless
Just about the cleanest C-3 under-hood I have seen
