Where is the SBC made today ?
I looked again ALL of their sbc crates from 355 & 383 & 396 use a "hand-picked seasoned block bore 0.040"
Only when you step up to their sbc 400 & 427 & 434 do they employ their NEW blocks
Yes, at least for several years I was aware Edelbrock uses fresh GM short blocks and puts their heads etc on.
As I said above, not everyone has the wherewithal to build motors … an ability you and others here share.
I build 2-3 engines a year for people and don’t look for the work.....most have an existing engine to rebuild....but I have sought out cores before.....
Crate engines have their place.....but not for super inflated pricing.....selling a name.
