Replacing all my a arm bushings and front end parts and thought of changing my oil pan. It’s rusty and dented. Is there a source for this pan? Every pan I can find has the built in baffle and won’t fit with the l82 windage tray.
Not sure about the windage tray issue. Have you tried Summits advance search on the left side of their page under "oil systems"? I think you will end up with a Moroso or a Milodon in your choice of capacities.
Then a little voice will say: "while your at it"
new pump, shaft, pickup screen, etc . . . . . . . . .

Pan is somewhat hard to find and expensive. It has 2 angles welded on the inside that mate up to seal off the windage tray and a slosh baffle that fits up close to the tray at the front of the sump. D&R Classic Camaro (might) have the recently discontinued factory GM Z/28 road race pan that would have the right baffle setup. They want $269 for it. That would work nicely.
Or fix up the one you have. I would try that first.
At this point I’m thinking bead-blasting, prime and painting and putting a 1 piece gasket on it. Unless I can find a new one. The bummer is I have a few passenger side pans that are perfect.
I looked long and hard for a replacement L-82 pan for my OEM pan that was slightly warped I found during my 2014 rebuild of the L-82. No one makes a reproduction L-82 pan!. Keep what you have like I did, straighten it, and pan it..it is valuable and impossible to get new.
Surprising to see Bob is reproducing those pans. I guess he could be having them made. Best oil pan/baffle/stud/oiling racing design to ever come from GM for Gen 1 SBC. That setup was in the GM Power Manual for decades.
