MIKA- I have a NOM 454 in my 68 convert and the PO used Heddman long tube headers. They fit- sort of. It was necessary to put a dent in the tubing on both the driver side and passenger side to clear the steering gear and the mounting bolt for the pitman arm. I looked at the available "block hugger" headers and they appear to clear the side of the engine compartment better. Hope you get some suggestions, since I am also looking for something that fits.
I got this car from my uncle that died, so I don't know much about it. It has a 72' 350 in it now. I was told to measure the radiator and sway bar and look for a notch out of the front frame cross section is this correct? it all points to 427 thanks for the tip I'll probably put new springs in anyway
