I have Tom's Frame Reinforcers that I am looking to weld in place and I wondered if anyone has pictures of how they installed them? The pictures on Tom's website are not that clear. It seems like I would need to trim a bunch off of the plates before welding them in place in order for them to install as pictured. Thank you.

Yes that’s great, thank you. That is how I was thinking of doing it, but it didn’t seem match the photo from Tom’s page.
I must admit I know Jack Squat about what you are attempting to do, but I googled a question and up came the link you have. Someone may come along shortly to really confirm what it is you need.
Best.
I bought these in like the 1980s, and I needed every 3/16 of an inch I could get! Basically Tom's from drag racing and general hard driving figured out the weak spots, but I actually took my frame welding from simple gussets like these, to full welding the spot weld factory work! I beefed the whole tire side with 1/4 or 5/16 thick stock (would have to go look), and re-welded the upright attachments! My rails to the outside are smooth, to include flush the suspension bumper! Nothing to cut a tire, as I was after the maximum rubber that would fit!
The crossmember ones, I would eliminate the rubber and do the welding there totally different! I don't like the Tom method there, as your diff bolts to that piece! So mine are solid and I raised it. The others deal with the frame strength thou on the rails!
These pieces can be made by anyone! It is just flat metal cut pieces!

Well I had searched for it without any luck, both with google and on the forum, so thank you. I got them installed today.

Thank you, I am running the diff raised and mounted solid. That is why I wanted to install these gussets. I am hoping I don’t need to do anything more, but I know the kick up area is a weak point.
