C3 Ride Height Specification
Newby question.
I have tried searching for the ride height specs on here, and it must be somewhere, but I'm sorry, I can't find it.
Can someone tell me what the standard ride height spec is for my 1979 C3? Ideally the ground to fender eyebrow measurement taken at the wheel centre line. If not then any other way of measuring the ride heights both front and rear.
thanks!

Brian, Thanks!
Can't believe Chevy used this way of measuring on a 79! I need to measure each corner heights. Measuring to the centre of the front and rear bumpers doesn't tell me if an individual spring has sagged.
Thank you anyway.

Hi John,
Earlier cars (68-72) had a 'ride height' diagram as part of the Assembly Instruction Manual.
Two of the dimensions given were from the ground to the top of the wheel arch.
The ride height for those cars (based on the F70-15, 27" tall tires those cars were equipped with) was just about 28".
I'd think your 79 would typically have been very close to that.
Regards,
Alan
