1975 factory alarm question?

I know this subject has been beaten on for a long time, But I have a few questions. Here is what I have
1. The system works
2. The anti-theft tamper switch is broken – threaded part missing. Unplugged broken switch and put a jumper wire to prongs on plug
3. Hood is off car. Unplugged terminals at hood switch
4. Close both doors and Door ajar light goes off. When doors are open light works.
5. Key out of ignition
6. Turn key at fender to set alarm – As soon as I turn the key the horn starts to blow. This is where im having the issue, Not sure where to go from here.
