I have a 1973 corvette convertible manual shift 350 cu in. I have an after market manual temp gauge that I want to remove. I have the new orginal gague that is electric. I cant find the factory wire for the gauge. There is one poll on the new sending unit. My wiring for the gauge is a three wire. Blue, light blue and black. I need a wiring diagram or advice on which wire is the sending unit?

Very nice pic and would be awesome if the wires had all the colors marked on there as well in case BUBBA got in there and changed some things. Thanks for posting, but I think there is a mistake.
Shouldn't it go like this (below) for the fuel gauge? According to the diagram, there are only two wires, TAN and Black. Blank is ground, not 12 volts and Tan looks like 12 volts. I didn't check the others for accuracy.

Hi again.
Let's look at the '73 schematic again.
On page two, at the gauge, I see a PINK and a TAN.
Pink at the gauge goes to a fuse and gets powered-up with the key in ON.
The TAN goes into the bulkhead connector and out to the fuel sender and the fuel sender has a separate black ground.
