Default Which Magnaflow mufflers?

Hi all, the short question is: which magnaflow mufflers do i get for my 74 coupe? I have an 80-82 rear bumper cover installed. Spare tire clam shell is removed. 400 hp small block, aggressive cam, headers/3 inch collectors, 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back. No X or H pipe, not sure that'll get done soon, but it shouldn't affect specific muffler part number. I don't mind muffler sitting lower so you can see it below bumper with single exhaust tip pointing straight out the middle. OR the hidden muffler, tucked up there, with turn down exhaust tips like stock. As long as the muffler has 2.5 inches in/2.5 inches out, I'm good.

I've researched all the threads about magnaflow vs. flowmaster vs other. I like the magnaflow best. My objectives are: yummy sounding idle we all love, ear candy when I get on it. BUT minimal-to-no drone at cruising highway speed (I might need to add H pipe after all). Also, my overall goal with this car is to have a 12 second car, so performance flow is important.

Specifically, based on your experience I'm looking for model number, with single or double offset muffler. I'm guessing based on my sound preferences, I'm looking for 14 inch case instead of 11 inch.

'trying to give as much info as possible here in search of specific part numbers. Thanks in advance!

I'm running the 13256 on my '71. They're 2.5" in/out (I made custom 2.5" tips). 454 BBC, headers, 2.5 duals with X-pipe. They droned until I added car chemistry 2-disc inserts into the header collectors. Now they sound OK.

since your okay with different things why not do this and use the muffler as the xpipe?

If not you may want to look into Dynomax VT mufflers.

Thank you @zwede and @Kacyc3 .
I should have added 18 inch size to original post as an acceptable option. Thanks for added part number; it looks like i'm heading in that direction.

@Kacyc3 that looks like a cool setup; 'also could shed a few pounds too with one less muffler. If I didn't already have stainless pipes from just after collectors I'd give that serious consideration. In the meantime, i'll stick with the traditional dual setup and will add H pipe after collectors if its needed.

LOVE the maggies on my '72 H pipe cross over, PURRfect tone, and free shot I can see through them....VERY surprised at that.....unsure of specific ones on the car as bought used many many many years ago though.....I THINK they wide so no room for the spare, but I'm AA member.....;-)

These are Magnaflow 2.5 inch centered inlet and offset outlet. They are tucked up and can't be seen from the side. They are fairly quiet at part throttle but have become pretty loud at WOT. I guess the fiberglass inside compresses after 240 quarter mile passes. Quickest is 12.15 at 110, so they're not holding me back.
