'72 T-Top trim question
I am in the process of re-assembling the t-tops on my '72. I did not take them apart originally so I don't know what goes where. I have the AIM but it does not show my question.
The front stainless curved trim piece, what holds it on to the top? The straight piece rivets on with some sealing strip along the crimped edge. The AIM does not show anything like a sealing material going into the crimped edge. Other than the small joint piece there is nothing else holding the curved piece on.
Should I use some sealing material or ???

No sealant on mine on my '81 either. Just be careful putting them in place. The fit is really tight.
I think the earlier models have sealing strips which are available from Corvette vendors.
