Default Removing rear window storage shelf

I would like to remove the rear window storage shelf in my 69. I would like to remove it without damaging it. Are the hinges mounted to the rear wall of the storage compartment? How is it fastened? Hopefully not with rivets.

Bolted on for the 72, I can't say for sure but would expect yours to be the same

looks like the hinge plate is riveted but should be able to remove at the hinge. Right?

yes the hinge is bolted together, I believe you need to take it apart to get at the piece on the rear wall anyway, nylon bushing between them.
(On my picture there I replaced the bolts to the rear wall with button head cap screws if that's what your looking at when you say rivets, but maybe the earlier ones were riveted I don't know)
