My front rotors need to be replaced. Does anyone know of some good affordable rotors with hub attached? I can't seem to fine any with the hub attached.
I’ve never seen an ad from a vendor for rotors with the hubs riveted to them. Normally the rivets are drilled out on your hubs and the rivets are removed. After that you can just replace the rotors. The rotors must be checked for runout. The issue is that the C3 calipers are solid mounted, not floating. If you have excessive runout on the rotors, it will affect your brake performance.
That video is ok but there is no mention of deburring the hub or new rotor which will need to be done. You don't need a Bridgeport or even a drill press to do this job. Just a center punch, center drill, 1/4" bit, 5/16" bit, cold chisel, hammer, die grinder. To do it like I do you will need a good indicator, flat heads, countersinks, tap and shims. Depends on what you want- good or the best both will work.
Here is how I do them, if you take your time you can do a very good job that is as good as original.
