Default 68 hardtop removal

Hello Everyone

Hoping for a little help

I searched 68 hard top removal and I am still struggling removing my hard to

I have a 68 the previous owner installed the hard top when I picked it up
He did not attach any nuts

I think pins into receivers

He told me there were 2 latch releases on each side

For this life of me I cant feel them in there at all,

I released the 3 front lever like catches on the front.
Cant find anything similar in the back

I see the receiver for the pins but no way to actuate the pins from under the convertible cover.

Anyone have a pic I could reference?

thanks

If you reach under the rear decklid there should be 2 levers- one to the right and one to the left, both pivot at the center. One should have rods going to the outboard latches for the top, and the other releases the rear deck. I can't tell you which one does which, 95% of the time I pull the wrong one.

Never Mind

I had to actuate the release latches in the rotary axis instead of a lever
It was very difficult to get my hand around the rotary latch

Thanks
