Need some help from forum members living here in WA. I have a C3 project nearing completion and soon it will need the alignments setting up. I also have some interior trim work needs doing as well as a windshield installing. Does anybody gave suggestions as to garages than can handle the alignment who know what they are doing with a C3. Also need recommendations for a good upholsterer. Finally I have been to a few windshield places and none know about using support foam tape used to align the C3 windshield, bit scarry, so if somebody know of one here in WA please let me know. Thanks in advance, lot of good helpful guys on this forum.

Default Hi again.

Google "Corvette clubs" or NCRS in your area and talk to the members for recommendations as to who they use.

Not into the clubs they are mainly later year cars. The guys on this forum generally are the best for this information as they actually work on their cars

Can't help with identifying shops ... but since you're not far from Seattle seems there'll be something around there.

Seems I drove thru Lynnwood ... Fall 2013. Day began at Port Angeles, detour to Marymere Falls, then east to late lunch at Port Townsend, ferry from there to Whidbey Island, drove south then ferry to Mukilteo, then south thru Lynnwood to late Pike Place supper overlooking harbor. Fondest memories. Washington my favorite of all, particularly Olympic Peninsula. You're lucky to reside WA; may you have just as much fixing your vette.

I use Brad's Custom Auto in North Seattle for mechanical. The rest sounds like body or interior type work and Brad will probably have a referral for you.

It has beautiful scenery for sure, 20 years ago it was paradise but now there are too many people moving in so traffic is pretty bad and of course now we have Captain Climate as governor. 🙄

It does seem that some things may have changed over the years...

Things have gotten uglier everywhere ... more people, more stuff, stronger dope, more attitude. Certainly the case where I've called home for most of my adult life.

There's a cold hard truth that most folk (and especially our economic systems) just can't seem to acknowledge ... there're already too many people.

But, I'm awaiting the first opportunity to visit Washington State & Pacific Northwest again.

For somebody who still knows what Butyl Tape is and how to install a Windshield give Quality Auto Glass a Try at 78th and Aurora Ave.

For Suspension Alignment I use Craig at Prova Motorsports. He charges by the hour so You want everything ready ton go before You get there. He does high end sports cars. He did the alignment on the Goodman Racing L88 Corvette before it was shipped to Lemans in France for the nostalgic racing a few years back. Don't expect him to have the C2-3 era Shims for the trailing arms. He is booked at least a couple of weeks out.

You could try Rich's upholstery on 100th and Aurora. Rich is long gone he has sold the busness but its still as good as anywhere else that is still in busness. You will like his sign on the building.

I spent 3 days in Salt Lake on business about nearly 20 years ago. I was struck by so many homeless-addicts-street people. There was a herd camped atop building adjacent to my hotel ... feet away from my window. Wacky. I don't get it? Winter's COLD in SLC. And No grits to warm your tummy ... "uhhh what's a grit, sir?" Washington No grits either ... Pho instead.

I've had Alignment Plus in Bellevue recommended to me for classic car alignment. I am going thee Friday morning to have my 68 aligned after the conversion to Steeroids rack and pinion so I will let you know how they are.
For general mechanical stuff I have used The Garage in Renton. They are super cool and really knowledgeable for classic cars.
