You are putting down some good times there, but that has some people scratching their heads when they find out a cross-fire is under the hood! Great job with your build, it is amazing what just two injectors can do!
I have really pissed off a couple of stock motor C5s with exhaust so far and for one I pulled over for him and lifted the hood. He said I was running a bottle LMAO I told him if I was running a bottle that he would have lost by a lot more. I also told him if he finds a bottle anywhere on the car I would give him my car...You got beat by a two injector CFI motor. His face was priceless. GO CFI! The whole reason I have built my CF motors was to prove a point to all the naysayers out there that say a CF motor is worthless, really?! I'm not running 10s or 11s, but mid 12s in a CF is rather respectable in any book.

With a good NOS system you would be in the high 11's.....

Actually, my machinist who races on the network show "No Prep Kings" and is a HUGE fan of NOS said with only a 125 shot, should send me into the 10s, but my car will NEVER be a bottle baby. I really don't need to spend more money rebuilding a bottle motor needlessly. Giggle gas is fun until something goes wrong and then the wallet is hurting. My motor is set up to be able to run 125 shot right now, but I won't do it. BTW, my machinist runs a 800cu in NA motor with 4kits pictured below. I think it was Corvette magazine did an article on a bone stock 84 CF vette with 125 shot that went 11.7, so I'm pretty sure the same would get mine going into the 10s somewhere. My machinist also said he would setup the NOS to make sure it was right. I have all the part numbers and diagrams that Holley had in their original CF NOS kits just in-case I ever get the urge to do it.

Ha sweet, bet they were surprised!
Kind of the same reason I wanted a cross-fire as well, liked that it was an underdog and wanted to make it fast.
They can make some very respectable power with enough work, thats part of the fun of it.
