Hooker's catalog says the 63-82 Corvettes need an A/C bracket 10925 left side & 10926 right side. Does anyone have any experience with these brackets, if so what, where bought?....I guess all Hooker headers with A/C would need it also! Comments,,I just ordered a set of Hooker sidemounts + sidepipes from Jet Hot coat..(by the way $1065 including shipping, its the only way you can get the sidepies coated with the headers)
I bought the bracket, but was so disapointed with the quality that I sent it back.
My "bracket" is now a spacer used on the stock length bolt at the lower mount point along with the factory A/C bracket. Has worked for over a year now.
i have a stock lenght bolt. used the stock A/C bracket. have a 3" or so spacer and several washers to hold everything tight. has worked for 20 years.

Autoxer- What year C3 do you have? Keep in mind the earlier C3's are different from the later ones. I agree with Steve, the billet brackets are the way to go, mount on the front of the heads and use an adjustable bar w/hiem joints, nice and sturdy.
