Default relay rod question

Doing the Borgeson box upgrade and tie rods. After I cleaned and painted the relay rod I noticed the threaded end is not parallel w/the rod itself. Kinda a slight angle. Is the supposed to be or is it bent? Thanks

It should be straight. The relay rod has a ball on the end and rotates on the ball so if the rod is bent or curved to one side from say a hit or accident, it will throw the steering off depending on the position or orientation of the ball that is able to turn 360 degrees. If you can visually see the bend or curve that would be a big variation in steering...

I have seen different ones (aftermarket), some more straight, some with the thread end angled and the other side looking kind of bent! It is best to post a picture! Many small block cars got upgraded to the big block unit! Some from different manufacturers like Moog, etc etc and others!

Here is a pic of what I'm talking about.Dont know if its bent ,kinda looks like it might be to line it equal to the idler arm, maybe? This is the position it would be in,angled forward.
