and they will have to be 4 wire heated sensors. too far from heads. if you put the sensor in a primary and it is only reading what is going on in 1 cyl.
after a little probing under the car tracing O2 wire we relized it was never pluged in to begin with , whoever installed the super comp headers disconnected the O2 they did a great job on the install however my install on the sidemount headers (Dougs) came out even better just the sound and the looked of the 4"chrome pipes the car we let run without the O2 for 30 mins no lite came on car idle great no need for that O2 on this install lots of power , its hard to believe they only had 200hp !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
that car is sexy I don't have an ls in mine but I do have an o2 hole pucnh write where mine is an as soon as can im goin to put that o2 in thank enjoy ur ride
My setup. 496 BBC with FAST XFI 2.0. We installed the bungs in the actual sidepipes. I have bungs on both sides, previously for wideband AFR. Now just using driver's side for the EFI. Angle is not ideal but since the sensor is heated, I have not had any issues.
capn ron. if you get no CEL with O2 unhooked, you need to look into your program-tune in your ecu. sounds like it is programmed to run open loop and doesn't care about O2 signal. you haven't said so we are all assuming stock x-fire and stock ecu. but they can be chipped. if you are messing with it, an 84 xfire ecu is much faster. i don't mean the car is faster. i mean the ecu sees what is going on and corrects faster.
