Weatherstrip Install Tips

The front pillar of the windshield is extremely hard to get the weather-strip into . Does anyone have any tips on getting this piece into the holder?

Maybe try a little lubricant to help get it in? Usually works for me in tight places.
I know what you are thinking. Wise guy!! Good luck. I’m getting close to replacing mine as well. Please post what works for you.

That is what I was thinking about. The piece needs to be pryed behind the stainless trim a small bit at a time so some lube may help slide it into place. I plan on using a bead of weatherstrip adhesive on the back side for long term positioning.
