The left outer door seal for my 81 is shot and needs replacing. Ordered one from Ecklers but it's not the same. It's a tad longer and the clips don't exactly match up to the factory, it won't snap into place. Anyone have another supplier they can recommend? I assume they are all using the same parts. ):
My window sometimes closes on the outside of the blowout clip. I've rebuilt the window rollers but that didn't help. My next theory is the outer door seal is wore and not keeping pressure against the window when I close it. Won't know for sure until I can find a seal that works!! Clips are off just enough that the won't snap into place.
Yes because they sell rubbish, no quality stuff , ,imported from overseas . Try to find some OEM stuff on the E Bay. I think Willcox has better quality ones than the titusville shop.
Last time we renewed them we ended up swapping the old clips onto the new seal. That was the only way they would work.
