Default Wiring

You guys on here have been very helpful so far but I have another Delema haha looking under the hood of my 74 I see whoever had it before has cut 2 wires coming off the main harness anyone know what they are for?? I looked at the wiring diagrams but can’t figure it out also I included a couple pics of the car she’s a work in progress but someday it will be where I want it!

Hmm... can't really tell if that larger orange line is a wire or a vacuum line from the photo. Looks like it disappears behind the windshield wiper motor. Is that correct?
So, what systems do not work on the car. That may help narrow down where you need to focus your attention on as to their function.
Good luck... I can't help too much since I am not real good with wiring issues.

It goes into the main with all the rest right handy to the wiper motor yes,I’m not good with wiring either haha so it’s kinda been trial and error.currently my headlights won’t go down and I have no heater other than that I think everything else is working.headlights I believe is a vacuum leak issue that I have to tend to aswell

The best advise I can give you is to invest in an AIM and wiring schematic for your 74.
All wiring is color coated and a schematic will be your best friends to help you with wiring.
The AIM will help you identify the components in the vacuum system and show where all vacuum lines run to or from.
Good luck.

The two wires going to the Hood's Air Door solenoid are accounted for, correct?
