High flow cat converters?

Big block ended in 74. Cats started in 75. What year car-engine and what state's emissions? North Carolina? No emissions 95 and older cars.

This is entirely custom to prevent some harmful emissions provided it’s not too much of a sacrifice on power etc. Flowmaster makes some for hot rods with headers and performance exhaust mufflers but was hoping for some recommendations.

CATs take the rasp out of an exhaust system, the cats from LS cars a supposed to be little to no loss but no proof either way. research them and find the one that offers the highest flow number is my guess.

They are fine and last a long time. Catco, Manaflow etc make them. Use an o2 sensor to tune if you use them and heat shielding.
They dont sap a ton of power like the old pellet style did. Using headers with smog tubes? Manifolds seem to choke BBC
