A few years ago I rebuilt the A/C in my 73 with all newer stuff
Saden Compressor, Parallel flow condenser, 78 Evaporator and accumulator, and new hoses.
Last weekend I found a hose fitting broke so I have replace the accumulator and hose but I have a lot of oil leaked out of the system so
the question is how much oil do I need to put in before I recharge the system.

The million dollar question. It's impossible to know. About all you can do is add an oz. or disassemble the system and flush and put in the required amount.
Pretty much was my thought. Figuring I lost about 4oz on the floor and with the new accumulator I should be good with about that.
Do you know how much was in the compressor when it was new?
The AC manual that I had for the wife’s Saturn specified how much oil to add when replacing each specific AC component. I imagine the same exists for a Vette but I don’t have it.
