Front Brake Bracket To Spindle Torque Specs
Have questions on the assemble of the Front brake bracket to steering spindle, chiefly the torque specs. The AIM is unclear of this and although I have a rather complete listing
of torque specs, I cannot be certain so I am asking here. The first pic show the 11/16 threaded bolt that essentially connects the spindle, brake shield, and top of the brake braket
together. What is this torque spec? Also, the lower bolt(2) - what are their torque specs?
Also, I thought I took great pics while dis-assembling, but apparently I didn't do as well as I thought.
This is a shot behind the spindle - it looked like the steering arm went behind the brake bracket like shown, I just want to be absolutely certain.
Thanks in advance for any help!
And yes, it really only goes together one way. That looks correct to me.
I couldn't find a specific reference to that top bolt so when I did mine I set it to 70 like the other two.
