My question is why would anyone have a car as nice as that and not drive it? What good is it? Sure, as an investment it'll appreciate in value-not as much as he's hoping,-but it's crazy! It'll take several thousand dollars to replace everything that's dry rotted, but I guess if you're dumb enough to spend $125k on it, what's a few thousand more?
yep, what a shame...passed on one late last year, 70 miles, never registed, original MSO (manufacturers statement of origin) but had not been properly stored, so it was in sad shape. Still had the plastic on the seats, etc, but not what it should have been.
Offered them $6500 (generous at the time) and was rejected with no counter, the car sold a couple months later for about $8K, basically because the successful buyer told them the same thing I did, that the car was not worth much due to the poor storage. I told the lady she should have called me, I would have matched or beat that price, but another car was gone...oh well. I still like the silver and black. Maybe I'll offer this moron 1/10th his asking price, that would be a good deal for both of us.

I saw one with 32 miles; never titled; around 30,000. A 25 year old car barely run...........My PC has 35,00; 32,000 when I bought it, and I bet it runs smooter than the 7-miler...........first thing I would do is replace everything rubber, and flush the engine.........
I was in a Ford dealer with a friend a few years ago and they had a 1979 Rancharo(?) the last year for made them. It wasn't for sale or ever was, the owner just had it sitting in the back under a cover since 1979.
We were wondering what Chevy/ford would do if you bought these cars and took them in for service, They are new and never titled so one would think they are still under warrenty.
I read on the forum about a year ago about a C3 (I think a Pace Car) that was stolen, driven about the same number of miles into a warehouse and found 25 years later abandoned. Since it was stolen, the rightful owner was still the car dealer. I wonder if this is the car?
