Default Shipping Steering column

Need to ship my column to be rebuilt but having a hard time finding a box@ 8x8x40. Who has done this and where did you get your box? Recommendations on rebuilders apprec.Thanks

Make your own....go to Home Depot and buy some of those heavy duty boxes.....and make your own....boxes are a couple bucks each and a roll of tape....you can do it for less than $10-12....I did a lot of of this parting out my car. I shipped a ton of stuff this way no problem and saved a ton of money vs paying someone to do it. Invest a few bucks and some time.

I have done three of them ,go get you a piece of 1/8 plywood ,and cut a little bigger than the column , take tie strips and tighten down on the plywood ,and then cover it with cardboard!

Yes I bolted mine on to 2 pieces of plywood. sandwiched it between them than put in a box
sent mine to paragon. They glass beaded the shaft replaced the bearings all switches and painted.

UPS Store has several different sized boxes
