I would think ARP but which type: 8 point or 12 point? I've also seen a small 3/8 size bolt - is this what I want to order? Your experience is appreciated! :cheers:

I have ARP's on my headers (undercar)8 point 3/8 head, worked just fine for me, I'd get the stainless if I had to do it over again, I got the stainless for the intake though :D

I was planning on using the Stage 8 locking bolts when I get that far. They have an allen head insert in the head of the bolt for hard to access areas. Jegs has them---don't think they're in the catalog though, you'll need to ask the guy on the phone to look them up. :chevy

I'm with Len on that one. I have Stage 8 locking header bolts. They are sooooo nice. I have not tightened them up since I installed the headers at the beginning of the year. Definitely a nice investment....should pay for itself with time (saves you from unneeded blown out header gaskets).
