I want to buy my 1st Corvette. Considering my budget the C3 is the way I'm going to go. I like the flat glass in the rear more than the bubble. Does anyone know which years this was done? Thnx in advance.
correction just to be an a$$ it was actually 72 that was the last year for the removable glass. Figured id clear that up...Also as shown on other posts you can modify 73-77 to use the removable rear window without much difficulty.

If you are on a budget, as you say, you need not look at 68-72 cars .. the price difference is huge
further things to consider to help confuse your choice.
74 was the last year for the factory big block.
75 was the first year for a factory cat and possible smog equipment (Cali) 76 for sure.
74-77 cost less than the 68-73.
early cars had the wiper door, later cars had the longer hood instead of the wiper door.
