Front coil springs problem.

Front coil springs problem.
Hi
Whether it could be the original spring for C3 '72 auto SB Conv. w/o AC? After repairing the suspension and putting it on, the car is very high. Everything seems well done and the upper swingarm touches the rubber bumper.
Help me
Regards

Is this the original spring?
If not the original spring what is the manufacturer and part number?
Did you correctly install the spring in the upper pocket so that it can be seen through the hole in the frame?
Looks like way too many coils for that to be a Corvette spring.

Burning Brakes
If you are sure you have the correct springs. Sometimes a car will ride higher than normal, if the upper control arm bushings were replaced and the end nuts were tightened while the car was still jacked up or while the front susp. is unsprung. Did you do this while repairing the front suspension? Just a thought.

^+1 Loosen the control arm bushings and bounce the car up and down a few times. Then tighten them back up. MelWff is correct also, make sure the spring is seated correctly.

Hi
Thanks for answers.
1. The spring is correctly installed in the upper pocket
2. After replacing the upper control arm bushings , the end nuts were not tightened
3. I've been bouncing the car up and down several times.
I think everything was done correctly. Before repair the frame and control arms were in very bad condition (very very strong corrosion) the car couldn't move so I think that the previous owner installed springs from BB so that it doesn't lie on the ground
I have to either shorten them or buy new ones.
