Thanks to Wilcox' awesome video about fuel gauge issues, I'm 99% sure the issue with my '77 is a blown resistor. I understand these come in a couple different colors. My first question is - is there a video somewhere showing how to properly remove the instrument cluster? I'm sure I can figure it out, but want to make sure there isnt any tricks/tips before I just go pulling stuff.
Next question - since the resistors come in a couple different colors.... Is the only way to tell which one is correct to match the one that is currently on there? My fear is that the p/o just slapped one on there and it wasn't correct, now I wont know which color is correct.
If all of this is answered elsewhere, please feel free to point me in the right direction. Thanks guys!!
