Default Corvette Elders Please Assist:

After seven years ,I have my rescued C3 parts car to street/strip driver project mechanically solid throughout. I'm just now looking at cleaning it up a bit cosmetically . I'll start at the bottom and work up.
I have long tube headers from Stainless Works . These have no coating and I'd like to polish them up a bit but am wondering what product specifically made for stainless exhaust is going to work best considering the extreme temps required. There is no corrosion on them and I don't mind the
colors from the heat , just like to add a bit of sheen under there . The net is full of advice, and manufactures promise the world to get your nickel but I'll put my money on our experienced forum members who steer me right every time.

Best,

Robert

Brass wool and Borla stainless steel polish works very well, you must use brass wool not steel wool and of course plenty of elbow grease.

I appreciate your input . The wheels are 18 in back and 17 up front. Car needs much cosmetic clean up throughout as I mentioned.

Enjoy Arizona !

Robert

Use to be a simichrome fan-

I have polished a lot of stuff and have found that the Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish works the best and keeps the shine longer.

Everything from Dewitts radiator to the stainless sidepipes I made from 304 SS-

Left unpolished-

even did wonders on my chrome-moly rollbar!!!

Dewitts radiator- just look at the reflection of the neck

Dry sump oil pan

Everything from fuel injector rails -velocity stacks to the SS exhaust manifolds
