What a great looking 68’
The rims you have on there now are 15x8.
If you stay 15”......just get the backspace of the stock wheel....I forgot offhand what that number is....

But the wheels on your car are 15x8”
I like the wider ones better myself.

I like the look, pls give tire sizes and rim specs or P/N, and are you running offset trailing arms. (I currently have 295/50/15 rear with O/TA and don't want to lose any treadwidth)

Wheelsforless. You want the custom 2 piece. Mine are 18 x 8 4" backspace.

Yes 15x7 are stock, 15x8 look cooler. 17x 8 give you the best tire selection. You want to go to a supplier that actually lists the back spacing for a 68. The rim of a 15 inch wheel will be withing millimeters of rubbing the parking brake cable boss. Be aware of the spring to rubber distance too. This was the monospring I used to run on the car

these are a 15 inch factory wheel.

I currently have 17x8 American Racing Torque Thrust II with Firestone Firehawk 235/55/17 tires which is almost the same meassurement as the stock 27.2 inch diameter. Plenty of rear room, I had a slight rub on the front at full lock on the frame with the factory front A arms. Im running a full VBP system now

17 inch clearance

the red stripe is a Rimsaver from RimbladesUSA

current setup still plenty of room

I prefer TTO for that old school look. Need 1/4" spacers though. I had custom billet hub/wheel centric ones made

Same here, 8,5 x 15 TTO with 7mm hub centric spacer to clear spokes to brake calipers... This is a Long time classic as you can see the C3 in front of Mr Motion's shop!

I think you can get TTO now that clear w/o spacers but you need to check with knowledgable sales rep as I think both are still available.

The place that made my wheel spacers is www.motorsport-tech.com.They also have the lugs you will need. The TTO's are 15x8.5 BS 3.81. They would look period correct w/ those red line tires you have!
