Wiper Door Installation???
I am at the point of just abandoning the entire wiper system and putting in a block off panel or solid mounting the original panel and grill. Hey its SoCal and it never rains here and who would drive 550HP in the rain anyway.

When I installed mine (memory isn't what it used to be)
<<< STUFF RAGS OR TOWEL IN THE SIDE BOTTOMLESS PIT SO YOU DON"T HAVE TO REMOVE THE KICK PANELS TO RETRIEVE EVERYTHING THAT GETS SUCKED DOWN THERE >>>
Install the grill between the door and the hood and slide it all the way towards the front of the car so it's not in the way of the door
I bolted the hinges it with no shims (not even the ones I removed) and closed the door (without the actuator), set the height of the fixed grill as close as you can sliding the hinges up/down in the slots on the firewall
Looked front/back on the door edge and compared to the fender and figured about how much back it needed to go to line up, that gave me a pretty close guess on the shim thickness I needed to use to space the hinge mechanism back towards the windshield
Installed the shims (they are just flat metal plates with two holes, I used most of the stock ones but left one out. I think you can order them through CC or whoever but they are all the same thickness
They are a pain to install and slide in, I taped them to the hinge after dropping them several times as I recall.
There is a screw that goes against the plastic pad on the car to help fine-tune the height when closed, this also has a slight affect on the front/rear location but not much at all
Snug everything up and double check
I needed to add a couple of shims under a few of the screws on the fixed grill to get it to fully match the hood/fender/wiper door but that wasn't part of the factory stuff
Anyway, hope it helps
