Hood Dimensions
Anyone know or can measure the cowl width of a 79 80 81 82 hood? I am gonna buy another stock hood to cut up for my 77 and I'll be cutting out most of the cowl/center, obviously I can measure my 77 hood. Pics make the 79 up look narrower and of course the front of the cow is more pointy, I just want to know the width around the air cleaner thx!

Think the ad is wrong cause it says hood is off a 79 so I just assumed that was the start of those hoods but it looks like 1980 was. Or it was replaced with the newer version at some point before the owner bought it.
