How Many Grease Points

Hey All,
I have a 70 Coupe, 350/300 automatic and going to try changing the oil/filter etc myself. I'm wondering how many nipples there are to grease?

As many times as I have done it, I should know that. Upper and lower balljoints is four. 3 or 4 on the tierods, and one on the ps control valve.

Never grease the zerk on the PSCV.

You may want to check the drive shaft and the four universals on each rear drive tubes. Over the years, some owners may have changed them out to accept grease fittings. Jerry

Hey there sug,

Great post that offers grease points that I was not aware of since I've always had mine done at a repair shop..Can you be a bit more specific with regards to the 6 U joints??
FWIW some one way back told me there was also one somewhere along the drive shaft but I could never get it clarified...
Would those points be the same on my 78???

Some of the aftermarket joints have grease fittings in the body of the joint. You just have to look at the joint to see if you have them. If you had a stick, there would be a grease fitting on the clutch shaft. Jerry
