Default FI - Please advise

I gave my BIL my old 68 Plain Jane L36 Roadster a few years back as he has boundless energy to do interiors, detail work, etc.
I currently has the original L36, wide ratio 4 speed and 3:36 posi. Basically a base 427 convertible. Only option is the AM-FM stereo.

He picked up a strong internal 454 with reworked 67 oval port heads, Lunati 230-something flat tappet cam engine.
Gonna pull and detail the L36 and install the 454 to make an obnoxious Vette to play with.

So... I am suggesting a FI unit. It has to fit under the stock BB hood and be reasonably easy install.
I have been out of the loop for some time; I have to believe the aftermarket has some pretty great options.

Your thoughts? Real world installations get extra bonus points.
I appreciate your guidance.

Fuel Injection; carb replacement. Such as Holley Sniper, etc.
Thanks.

I run the Holley unit on my C3 with a blower (mpfi). The sniper uses basically the same software, it will fit under the hood no issues. The Holley units are very good and have great support on the forums. However I would strongly recommend that you also address the other areas of the car if you are going FI. Don't skip out on running new fuel lines (I run Russel PTFE flexible lines). I would also make sure your tank is good or replace it since you will need to drop it anyway. Last DON'T hack or take shortcuts with the wiring - hook it to the battery as it requires and make sure you have good clean grounds! The computer will do weird stuff and you will drive yourself nuts.

Why not,,, it's way too easy to improve a 40+yr old sport car,,, seems he wants to make it more fun,,,,

Yeah, pretty original. Car was Cordovan Maroon from the factory. Not for me.
All the panels were reworked and fitted. I had to do a door-to-door ACI front clip because it had been fixed badly many times.
The paint is really good. The gaps are perfect.
My brother-in-law will finish the interior and install the new black top.
It looks better with the 16x8 Chrome Ralleys and 50 series Comp TAs cuz it sits lower.
2nd gear synchro is shot.
I have the stock exhaust with AIR tubes and SMOG pump; now it has Hedman ceramic headers and nice 2.5" pipes with turbos and chrome tips.

Mark will pull and detail the original L36 and use the 454 for fun.
It will go back to stock engine 1 day.

I figure a modern FI Throttle Body will make it really usable.
All good and thanks for posting.
