Default Common BBC performance intake gasket #

What are some common Fel Pro/Mr Gasket intake pns? Say for an Edelbrock RPM, Vic Jr etc?
Thinking about picking up some Chinese BBC heads for another project, will be oval port.

Finished a set of sbc, getting bored besides they are easier to work on.

I recently pulled my intake, and extensively deliberated between the 1212, as mentioned by Jebby, and the 1210.

The 1210 is a metal insert gasket and has the crossover blocked. I remembered reading in some literature somewhere that Edelbrock doesn't want this gasket used with an aluminum intake, but had read enough success stores of it being used, so I gave it a shot. I hope I don't jinx myself, but so far so good on the 1210 and my RPM intake.

Either one is a great choice. Last two times on this motor I used the Mr Gasket ultra seal. The material on either Felpro gasket is superior.

The 1210 is fine too....but on a big block just requires a bigger bead on the China rail! Lol.

Also, if you pull the intake a lot....the 1210 and the 1204 (big block/small block) will eventually “print” itself into the head.....but for most of us, it is a non-issue.

I'm about to install the Edelbrock gaskets, but they sent two sets (total of 4 pieces) of the metal crossover restrictors? They seem to interlock, like you could make them double thickness. Anyone know why?
Thanks...

I believe they snap together and sandwich themselves around the gasket. Quite frankly i doubt they do any significant restricting of the exhaust crossover.

If you do not block it off completely......don't bother with those things. Find a way to block them off 100%.

May not bother with these heads they only come in 320cc thats awful big. Guessing the guys who build 500ci engines will want a name brand.
Thanks though...fwiw got a new set of afr 290s here as usual these are super nice. If you order with a flat tappet spring they use Pac fwiw.
