Default V12 in a C3...

Was reading in a automotive industry journal that GM is going to make a 48-valve DOHC direct injection 7.5L V12 for the Cadillac line. Stock setup is expected to produce 500hp. Engine is designed to fit where the big block does. I'm sure the motor mounts are different, but it would be a cool project to fit one of those into a C3. Of course one can do a lot of cool things w/ enough cash... :D

I believe that it was designed for the Escalade and Caddy Truck platform, also for a future un-named (or acknowledged) huge Daimler Chrysler Maybach killer car of the future. I don't think they have any plans on putting in their granny C-6 sports roadster they are going to release.

Just because GM doesn't want to do it doesn't mean it wouldn't be a cool motor to be under the hood of a hotrod... :D

C3 that is...
