There is a special tool that makes it very easy.
You have to press a spring metal tab, lift the wiper arm and pull the arm off of the stud perfectly straight.
You can do it with a screwdriver, a lefthanded monkey and a case of beer, and about an hour:lol:
Or about 10 seconds with the tool

If you look carefully there's a small locking tab in there, push it with a screwdriver and the arm will slide off
