Well I went into MCRD San Diego a boy with a 74 vette and came out Sunday a Marine with a 74 vette. After 3 long months of sleep deprivation, hunger and sore muscles. I finally made it home to see my 28 year old baby. Nothing really interesting about this topic. I just wanted to say that im back and ill be posting here again. :D
fresh from boot camp? geez, your not even a boot yet. your still just a 'shower shoe'! ooh rah, semper fi. oh yeah, and happy 227th birthday. :flag
My Dad was a Marine, I wanted to enlist as a Marine in '79, but was talked out of it. I have never served, but always.... "Semper Fi" - Thank You and all. Welcome home!
I loved the O courses at MCRD San Diego. What's going on at Edson Range? It looks as if a couple or three of the old squad bays near the chow hall are gutted. Remodeling?
Anyhow, congrats, man. Getting through RTR without being recycled is an accomplishment in and of itself. Always remember (and you already know this) that not everybody who tries out can make the team.
